Audio Cables/Adapters

A - 3.5mm (Mini Jack) to Phono *Production Equipment Only 

Allows a device with a 3.5 mm (mini-jack) output to be connected to one with a phono input

Use to: connect a laptop/mp3 player/phone to the mixing desk


A - Mic Stand *Production Equipment Only 

Allows a microphone to be positioned without holding it

Use with: a microphone (each microphone has an appropriate clip to connect it to the mic stand)

 

A - Phono (M) to Phono (F) 

A cable that allows phone cables to be extended

Use to: extend a phono cable


A - XLR (F) to 1/4" Jack *Production Equipment Only 

Connect a Microphone directly to a Speaker


A - XLR (F) to Phono (M) *Production Equipment Only

A cable that can connect a microphone to a Phono output - ie, directly into a speaker/amp


A - XLR (M to F) *Production Equipment Only 

A cable that connects from the Microphone to the Mixing desk, can also be extended by connecting multiples of this cable.

Use to: Connect a Microphone to a mixing desk or to extend an XLR cable


A - XLR (M) to 1/4" Jack *Production Equipment Only 

Use to connect a 1/4" output (ie, a Guitar amp) to the mixing desk


Power Cables/Extensions (predominantly for lights)


C - 13a RCD to 13a (2 socket / 10m) *Production Equipment Only 

A regular power extension cable which features an RCD, is 10 metres long and has 2 sockets for plugging in regular equipment.

Use for: Alphapacks, speakers, audio receivers, mixing desk 


C - 13a RCD to 15a (1 socket / 1m) *Production Equipment Only 

A 1 socket, 1 metre power cable that features an RCD which allows lights (which run on a 15 amp power socket) from a regular 13 amp plug socket

Use for: powering lights that are positioned a very short distance from a regular power socket, or connect a 15 amp extension lead to allow greater distance.


C - 15a to 15a (1 socket / 10m) *Production Equipment Only 

A 1 socket, 10 metre extension with a 15 amp plug socket on each end

Use for: extending the distance you can position a light that is connected to either a 13a RCD to 15a cable, or an Alphapack.


C - 15a to 15a (1 socket / 5m) *Production Equipment Only 

A 1 socket, 10 metre extension with a 15 amp plug socket on each end

Use for: extending the distance you can position a light that is connected to either a 13a RCD to 15a cable, or an Alphapack.


C - Grelco *Production Equipment Only 

A 2-way splitter for a 15 amp power cable (known in the USA as a Twofer)

Use for: Powering 2 lights from a single 15 amp extension cable. Ensure you do not try to connect too much current!


C - RCD *Production Equipment Only 

A "residual current device" used to ensure that a power cable is safe to use. Electrical current is stopped if there is a fault with the cable.

Use for: all lights! 13 amp to 15 amp extension cables have RCDs attached already, so mostly these are used with our Alphapacks.


Stands for the lights


LX - Floor Stand (For lights) *Production Equipment Only

A small yet sturdy stand to allow you to position lights on the floor.

Use for: placing Profiles, Floods and Fresnels on a level floor 


LX - Hook Clamp (For lights) *Production Equipment Only 

An adapter that can be used when attached to a Wind Up Stand to allow one light to be positioned at height 

Use for: connecting 1 light to a Wind Up stand, so you can position a light at height


LX - T-Bar (For hanging lights) *Production Equipment Only 

An adapter that can be used when attached to a Wind Up Stand to allow 2 hanging lights (which must be secured) to be positioned at height 

Use for: connecting 2 lights to a Wind Up stand, so you can hang 2 lights at height


LX - Wind Up Stand (For lights) *Production Equipment Only

A large and heavy tripod like device that allows you to position one or more lights at height

Use: together with a T-Bar or Hook Clamp to position one or more lights at an elevated position.
